With its GLASSFLOOR FIRESTOP REI 30, REI 60 and REI 120 walk-on fire-resistant glazing, Heliobus AG has achieved a significant extension to its existing VKF approval.

Already recognized for fire protection solutions, this recognition now also includes double and triple ISO glazing, which has been tested under strict conditions in accordance with EN 1363-1 and EN 1365-2.

The test results were checked by the Association of Cantonal Fire Insurers (VKF) and recognized for Switzerland. These glasses are sold worldwide, whereby country-specific fire protection laws and requirements must be observed.

Particularly noteworthy is the GLASSFLOOR FIRESTOP REI 120, which features triple ISO glazing and a glass thickness of 169 mm and meets unprecedented fire protection standards.

These glasses offer structural integrity for up to 30 minutes at REI 30, 60 minutes at REI 60 and an impressive 120 minutes at REI 120, setting new standards in fire-resistant glazing for walk-on skylights in buildings with high safety requirements.

This innovation underlines the high level of expertise and innovative strength of Heliobus AG in the development of safe and sustainable daylight solutions.
